What this is.

Pattaya Medical is an independent editorial publication that reviews medical facilities — hospitals, dental clinics, eye-care clinics, and specialist practices — serving Pattaya and the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. We are the eighth title in the Pattaya Authority network, sister to the Pattaya Restaurant Guide and the rest of the network you'll find in the footer.

Where the other network titles cover restaurants, gyms, schools, coffee shops, and visa paperwork, this one covers something more cautious. Medical content carries a higher duty of care than dinner recommendations, and we treat it accordingly: our editorial standards are stricter, our verdicts are scoped more narrowly, and we never write a line of medical advice.

Why an editorial directory for medical?

If you live in Pattaya or visit it long enough to need a doctor, you face the same question: which hospital, clinic, or dentist should you actually trust? The internet's answer is a thicket of sponsored placements, affiliate links, medical-tourism brokers, anonymous one-star reviews, and PR-arranged "best of" lists. None of that helps a worried expat or tourist on a Tuesday afternoon.

An editorial directory is a different artefact. We visit. We pay. We write what we found. We don't take money to like a place. The verdict is narrowly drawn — facility experience only, never medical quality — so we don't pretend to expertise we don't have, and we don't bury readers in over-confident opinions that should come from clinicians instead.

The method, in short.

Reviewers visit anonymously and pay every bill in full. We never accept comp procedures, PR-arranged visits, press junkets, or sponsored placement. Verdicts apply only to facility experience — administration, communication, billing, comfort, language coverage, transparency. We do not verdict on medical quality, treatments, or outcomes.

Bylines on facility pages and editorial content carry the collective signature "The Editors". Individual reviewers are not named so they can keep visiting facilities anonymously. The operator (TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd., founder Tim Paemi) is identified on this page and in the legal footer, but does not claim medical credentials.

Pattaya Medical is published by TIMPAEMI Co., Ltd., a Thai limited company based in Pattaya, founded by Tim Paemi. Tim is a publisher and editor, not a physician — no medical credentials are claimed for any operator, editor, or reviewer at this publication. The operator's role is to fund the editorial budget (we pay our own bills, remember), to maintain the site and its publishing standards, and to defend the publication's independence.

Tim's other publications (the Pattaya Restaurant Guide, Pattaya Visa Help, Pattaya Gym, Pattaya Coffee, Pattaya School Guide, Pattaya Stream, and the parent agency Pattaya Authority) operate under the same editorial rules: anonymous-visit, paid-bill, no-paid-placements.
